Caravan Rug Corp., the largest wholesaler, manufacturer and distributor of high end handmade area rugs on the West Coast, opened their show Tuesday at the famed AmericasMart Atlanta rug show, one of the world’s largest trade events for the rug industry.
Caravan is showing in two showrooms, one for Caravan Rug Corp., featuring traditional, transitional and classic rug designs, and one for Caravan Modern, showcasing the newest designer collections of modern rugs for the summer and fall seasons.
“We’re extremely proud of our new collections, and of the way they’ve been received so far,” says Jay Nehouray, Caravan’s general manager. “All the collections showing at AmericasMart are especially spectacular this year, and we’re happy to be considered among the main attractions.”
Caravan has a long history of being a leading manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor of fine handmade rugs, and has now moved into the retail arena as well. This year, their modern collections are creating quite a buzz among decorators and interior designers.
